The new abstract paintings featured here represent a varying palette of soft neutrals with rich contemporary colors. Bold lines in mixed media enhance the expressionism behind this work.

French and Italian landscapes were inspired by two beautiful trips to Provence in 2007 and Tuscany in 2009. Capturing the romanticism of these landscapes gives me yet another avenue for exploring organic color with complex textures and an array of linework. Creating a "sense" of place, rather than a picture postcard, is the ultimate goal behind this work.
