I have found in abstraction a limitless capacity to discover the pleasure of the simple interaction of form and color, nudging the mind into areas that are not normally reached. To continue evolving as an artist, I find the need to look at art as important as the act of painting. I want to explore the suggestive power of abstract art and focus on the subtleties of color, refining the innate sense of color with control of the oil paint palette.
