Lesser has been an artist/teacher and curator for more than 20 years in the Washington DC area including The Corcoran School of Art, Fillmore Arts Center, Smithsonian Institution, UDC and the University of Maryland. She was the Curator of Exhibitions at the Charles Sumner Museum for nine years. . Lesser has exhibited in Washington DC, New York, Brussels, London, New Delhi and Ouagadougou. Her paintings are in corporate and private collections in the US, Japan, the UK and India.
