Pam Frederick

I am a painter and collagist and an art adviser to several major Washington, D.C. law firms, including Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld, LLP and Zuckerman Spaeder, LLP and residential clients.

I have been a working artist for over 20 years. I work in a variety of media including collage, canvas and works on paper. My paintings are layered, textured and contain symbols and language in a rich, yet subdued palette. My current series depict inter-locking shapes with an overall abstract pattern.

For the past ten years I was enrolled in the Open Program studio painting classes at the Corcoran School of Art and Design. My instructors were William Christenberry, Steve Cushner and Tom Green. I also participate in bi-monthly critique group led by painter and professor, Tom Green.

My work in in private and corporate collections in an around Washington, D.C.
