These works are inspired by a photograph I recently found , having been taken by a departed loved one.

I found the structure and rhythms in the photo sriking.  While the photo is in black and white most of these paintings incorporate. nuanced blues and black.  One incorporates shades of browns/beiges and two use bright colors.

The exception is a painting of the Artic Ice Melt which esxhibits some of the same rhythms as the others.
