Leading DC art photographers and educators, including Gary Anthes, Iwan Bagus, Andy Bloxham, Soomin Ham, Amy Hendrick, Leena Jayaswal, Steven Marks, Rania Razek, Shaun Schroth, and Alexandra Silverthorne will explore the nexus between art theory and photographic practice. The work will show how varied conceptual models of, and approaches to, photography - and the other visual, performance, and literary arts - have shaped their picture making. The show is curated by Steven Marks, Studio Gallery, and Iwan Bagus, professor of photography at the University of the District of Columba.
