The woodblocks in this show were hand-carved and printed in my studio over the last year. Some of the paintings are new, some are old, but they are all linked to my perspective on life and art. To quote W.H. Auden, “Both in Life and Art the human task is to create a necessary order out of an arbitrary chaos.”
